ASD Friendly is a close-knit community of parents and carers of people with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Established in April 2003, ASD Friendly brings us together to share tips, vent frustrations and generally have a laugh about things that other people would never understand. We know that caring for a disabled child is difficult and rewarding; it's good to know that we don't need to do it all alone.

Wondering where to start? Drop in and say hello on our friendly forums - the best part of the site is being able to make firm friends with people who really do know what it's like. Before you know it, you'll be gossiping in the chatroom and meeting up in real life!

First Tuesday Of The Month 9pm: Debate day. Any Members are welcome to propose a topic for debate.

Tuesdays 10am: Coffee Morning Chat.

Thursdays 9pm: ASD specific chats. Anything relating to ASD

Sundays 9pm : General weekly chat on anything, ASD or not. General' how's your week been' and bring a glass of wine!


What does ASDfriendly mean to me?

I wouldn't be without this site, and the wonderful people who bring it to life every hour of every day.

Thanks to ASDf, my understanding of my daughter has grown and continues to grow the more I read about others, and share my own experiences. The confidence I have in myself as her Mum is also increasing as the support of everyone on here cushions me through the bad times, and raises me up high when things are going well.

I feel part of a genuine community who make caring for each other top priority.

The face-to-face meetings have brought me some truly lovely new friends, and with them, friends for my daughter too. I consider these generous, compassionate, inspirational people to be a part of my family.
