"Treasure" by Clive Cussler

I've checked around here almost all the book shops had it and amazon has it as well!

Happy Reading...this is my favourite author so I hope you guys enjoy him as much as I do!

New for me too. Is it old enough to be in a library, Allure? I'll wander down on Tuesday and see if I can get my mitts on a copy.

Link to it on Amazon

Lancashire libraries have over 30 copies on their online database. So i suspect it's widely available. I've just reserved a copy :D

Not sure I'll be able to keep a straight face with a hero called Dirk Pitt.

But I'll try...

 You know when I first started reading this series I was skeptical about his name too...he's actually named after the authors son who's first name is Dirk...but I absolutely love the sense of humor that he gave to the charectar so I was hooked...Clive actually has other books with other main charectars but the Dirk Pitt ones are my favorite... *whispering* I think he's sexy! :whistle :angel

You obviously need to read some of Mic's stuff: if Foxy Demillions and Pex Steele don't put you off, you must have a stomach of iron.

When Mic does a spoof, there is no such thing as "surrender" - she is merciless.

ROFL The original incarnation of Pex and Foxy was a soap opera parody - just a short story. They're being rewritten as a soap opera that a character in a novel I'm about to start writing is completely addicted to and unable to miss, whatever the circumstances.

The short story was just a bit of silly fun. I can dig it out if you're desperate. Or Gareth might have a copy.

I so wish I had...

If mic would only let me off the leash, she would be a published author by now... but she is too modest.
